I just ordered the SpeedyRacing towers for my Nitro Rustler Wed night. I see that they are going to ship in the next day or so. Very impressed with what I see so far.
I did send an email to Ray with a few questions about the 2 different tower setups they have and he got a reply to me very quickly. After seeing that I knew I made up my mind to buy this product.
Can't wait to get them on with some new smaller shocks and a new more racing style truck body. Going to be for the next few weeks trying new setups and getting every hooked up.
Once I get it all done and new paint job I will get some pics posted.
If anyone has any good setups or suggestions this would be a good place to post them.
Thanks Brian

Well its been sometime since O put my Speedy Towers on my Nitro Rustler. I went with the Losi 1/10th Slider alum shocks. They are blue threaded shocks that Losi or Associated pistons fit in. They work great and are smooth plus they are inexpensive.
Ran the truck twice since I put this setup on. It has been a very nice improvement thats for sure and gives me alot of adjustments to help tune in my truck. Truck has ran faster lap times and handles better overall. Well worth the money spent on the towers.
I will try to get some pics of my truck with the Speedy Towers on and the body that I run on my truck.

Hello
on your truck you can use about any shock depends on which kit you buy. The 1700 truck kit can use touring can shocks up to the front shocks on the nitro rustler. the 1701 truck kit was design more for the EDM bodies. It can still be used as a truck kit if you wanted the longer shocks. It all depends on what shocks you use I would use the largest hole's in your pistons and 40wt to 50wt in all 4 shocks. you will want to start with a 8 to 12 pound springs on the front and 6 to 8 pounds on the rear. if you use foam tires to race with

I recently ordered a conversion kit for my nitro rustler. I have converted it to a dirt oval truck. I would like to put a Kipps E.D.M. body on it. With my current front shock mount the body would not fit. I was looking at your 1701 conversion kit and looks like the shock tower would work. Is it possible to order just the 1701 shock tower, with out buying a whole new kit. Thanks for making Dirt Oval racing parts for our vehicles. I have won several races with a truck body. Would like to gain allitle more down force, with the Kipps E.D.M. Thanks again.
