I've always wanted an RC Hot Rod. The only one I ever saw was The Parma Hemi Coupe. I went to McAllister Lexan bodies & told them what I wanted to do & they referred me to Speedy RC Parts. My dream is in the process of being a reality thanks to Ray & McAllister. I am really glad to have found his site. Thanks to Ray Freeman of Speedy's Racing Parts my dream is now a reality. My 37 Chevy McAllister bodied coupe is my latest Hot Rod. I decided to keep this one brushed using a 5000 NiCad. Seems to get up to 30 or so. Enough speed to take to Hot Rod shows. I took it to the local Hobby Shop near my house to see if he had any Integy stuff for a Bandit Chassis. Just like all the other Hobby Shops;nothing. The 7 people in the store ,though, went wild. If I can find out how to post pictures I will. Ray outdid himself. Are there any other Hot Rodders on this forum? Todd Long Island NY Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

H ot Rods, Street Rods & 50's Customs are my passion. Unfortunately getting into RC's so late in life has some limitations. I don't do the things I used to do. My day is exceedingly long & spare time becomes short. For many years I customized Hot Wheels making the same cars I want for my RC collection. I think buying one was just fooling myself. My first was a Clodbuster, which is fully modified & goes like hell. It is CPE equipped & runs on 2 5,000 Castles. CPE is Crawford Performance Engineering. One of the best guys at his game for Monster Trucks. His "real" job is working as a Tech for the Monster Jam Series. For me he & Ray are two of the same, just with different RC vehicles. My second was a stock Grave Digger to run with my Grandson. He has a Son of a Digger. Both box stock, his was a little faster. Might be because his was newer. Well! That wasn't going to happen. I put in a Velenium Brushless. It screams, but I realize I was foolish. We can't run together anymore. If I put wings on it, it would fly. Time to go back to a Traxxis 12 T. Third was Panel Rod, which is the most fun for me until my 37. It is my very 1st Hot Rod/Custom. It's a Bandit chassis fitted with RPM stuff & a brushless motor. The body was a massaged Gravedigger body w/no decals. It sits real low & runs on Annaconda Tires with chrome rims. Goes like a raped ape & doesn't ask for anything but a battery charge. Attachments:
