the 1312 will be the best kit for a EDM body. you will want to get a set of B4 shocks for the front and rear.

Hello highcountry
i am not sure what class you trying to build a gt truck chassis. if you are trying to get the wheel width under 10 inches. yes you will have to change to somebodys a-arms.

One more thing i have purchased a set of B4 shocks but i think i was hosed they are about about the same as my stock GT shocks so can i use the front gt for the rear and the front B4 for the front. i am just trying to set it up to run at as many places i can just a general Nitro EDM/Truck class.

You really need the shocks to be the fronts used on the B4 to use the kit. You can take off the bottom shock mounting bracket. that is bolted to the rear a-arms. Then mount the shock eyelet to one of the mounting holes. If the rear truck set's level that will be close enough. you do not want to compress the rear springs to much. also you can change the shafts and go with a shorter shock shaft. the part number is ASC 9723 .80 shock shaft. you will also have to change the springs to make this all work.
