I am using a Speedy's conversion kit to turn my Losi XXX Kinwald into a Late Model Dirt Oval racer. Does anyone have tips on how to transfer more weight to the left side since the battery pack is in the middle? If possible, I don't want to modify the chassis as I am on a limited budget and want to convert it back to a buggy for next winter. Thanks.

Hello, you could simply put all of your electronics on the left side. And add 3 or 4 oz of lead, to the left side. That should be plenty of weight over there to give the car a slight push.

I am using the Associated TC3 shocks and am having problems getting the front shock ball (that goes in between the two parts of the A-arm) to fit down in there. Do I have to mod that part or does anyone have a tip? Thanks.

you will have to use the stock losi shock eyelets. i would get new ones. because no other eyelet will fit.

I also am in the process of converting my XXX Losi KW buggy with your kit, is there any setup sheets available for me to start from? Where do I start with shock placement, spring color, front & rear height, shock oil weight, spur/pinion combo for 13.5 Novak brushless, etc?

Hello jary501
my car was set up with losi touring shocks. The front was mounted using the second row from the bottom inside hole. The rear i went with associated b4 on the rear because that is what i had in my shock box. What i learned was my track was not smooth enough for the shocks to be the same and using a long shock on the rear helped. I have 40wt shock oil in my shocks. The spring you might try 7 to 9 pound spring on the front and 5 to 7 on the rear. If you use foam tires if you use rubber tire you will switch the spring rate and run heaver on the rear. 81 spur and 25 pinion safe place to start. A larger track and you go down on spur and go up on pinion size.
